The team of Hotel Engel

Us, the owners of the «Engel» in Sasbachwalden think tradition is an important value.

One of the reasons for this is that our Hotel-Restaurant is situated right in the heart of Sasbachwalden and is part of a historical place in the middle of our flowered wine village in the Ortenau region. The construction of the precious wooden framework on the front side goes back to the year of 1783.

Furthermore the personal customer service in our family-hotel has a tradition of over 200 years. The son-in-law Head Chef Christian Mamber is responsible for our culinary signature in the restaurant and he will spoil you with typical local dishes and also with gourmet food. The excellent wines from our area will correspond in perfect harmony.
